COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Creamy, malty, and full-bodied, the Big Gruesome Stout is scary good. The intense, roasty flavor comes from two types of chocolate malt and raw cocoa nibs. The stout is then aged on whole vanilla beans and more raw cocoa nibs to enhance the chocolate flavors. From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish, solid peanut aroma. Toffee, roasted, slight perfumed and soapy. Bitter, herbal and roasted dark malty into a dry and bitter finish.

Bottle shared by Samantha. Thanks! Black pour with a small tan head. Nose is hazelnut, vanilla, and a touch of peanut butter. Roasted malt, chocolate, and some hints of coffee. Tastes of hazelnuts and vanilla, too. Peanut butter, chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee. Maybe kind of an oily feel to the beer.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours black with medium tan head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong chocolate, peanut butter, roast. Thick mouth, chewy, cocoa, peanut butter, nice sweetness, vanilla, light booze, really enjoyed this.

Aroma of peanut butter, popcorn and cocoa powder. The taste is peanuts, peanut butter, sugar, chocolate and a hoppy finish. Medium-full bodied with soft carbonation. Interesting.
