On tap at Capones 2013 Black Friday event. Dark brown, almost black, with a creamy tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate mint liquor. High carbonation and moderate body, sweet, more chocolate chip mint ice cream on the palate. Could smell this forever but not sure I would drink too much again. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Tap at Lancaster Taproom. Pours deep, dark brown with creamy tan head; good lacing. Aroma is thin mint cookies, light roasted malts, and some faint dark fruit. Flavor is dry roast malts forward, mint, chocolate, light earthy bitterness, and faint dark fruit esters; dry, ashy finish. Medium body and low carbonation. snoworsummer (5693) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Draft at the taproom. Pours very dark brown with a creamy tan head and lots of lacing. Smells just like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Tastes like mint, hop bitterness, chocolate, and booze. Light body and low carbonation. Well done! jsmerig (1583) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 14, 2013

Draft at craft ale house. Pours black with a medium sized brown head. The aroma has a ton of peppermint, some dark chocolate. Smells like a cookie. The taste has about as close as possible taste to a thin mint. Delicious brew. My only tick is a slightly thin palate. Pours cola black with aroma of chocolate, mint, and some roast. Roasted malt and chocolate dominate the flavor with a subtle, but present mint flavor at the back end. More mint as it warms. Very nice beer. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2013
Bomber ... still love Springhouse’s labels! Poured a black color with a smaller sized off white head. Mint, chocolate, some dark fruits, and some roastiness.
