2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight citrusy. Bitter and dry hoppy, citrusy. Dry and citrusy finish. Bitter and dry far finish.
Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a pale burnt yellow almost bronze color with a finger and a halfs worth of white foamy head that concaved nicely to leave some messy foamy clingy lace.
The aroma had some sweet lemon pulp, sweet pine, bready malts with a touch of floral sweet hop quality at the end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side enveloping the piney hops and bready malts. Aftertaste was the sweet along with the bitter and having a little bit of toast coming inside. Finishes with a little bit of lemon hop burn which I wasnt entirely fond of.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, for the most part, its a decent APA but the finish I didnt care for. katrinaez (2021) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2016

translucent good. Thin white cap, great lacing. Oily resin body, dry pepper bitterness. Front palate is soft petal and orange, thinly peppery. Mid palate is doughy, light may papery before heavy resin finish. Sticky overall, needs more balance and complexity.
Draft at the Tap Room. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a standard pale ale with a notable hoppy pine finish to it. Flavor was about the same. Drinkable. cheap (5861) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Looks a little dirty yellow on tap @ madmex. Weird leathery appeal to it. Nice lacing. Good co2. Seems to be rather fresh although it leaves a sharper astringent bite at the finish. NikkTwist (3225) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2015
Draft at the Irish Pol. Slightly hazy amber pour with a very frothy off-white head. Solid lace. Floral citrus hop flavors. A noticeable Band-Aid note in the nose. Tastes of juicy, watery, pink grapefruit pith, unripe oranges, green tomatoes, clementines and mango sap. Numbing pineapple cores. Watermelon rind. Lemon thyme. Spicy green peppers. Though light, this brew has much sharper hop notes than expected which makes it quite refreshing. Nejhleader (1561) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 24, 2015
Can. A bit if a pine aroma. Taste is similar, a decent body, nice bitter hop aftertaste. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 28, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed deep amber color with a small white head. The head fades away very fast leaving just a hint of light foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a caramel nature with some notes of some grainy bread smells. Mixed with these aroma is a toffee smell and a very light floral and citrus smell.
Taste – the taste begins with a toffee and caramel sweetness mixed with a bit of a grainy and bready taste. As the flavors advance, the caramel fades a bit with the buttery toffee flavor increasing slightly. As this transitions occurs, so too comes some hop flavors of a grapefruit and grassy nature. A little bit of floral hop comes to the tongue at the end, leaving a semi-sweet and decently hopped (for a pale ale) taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the medium to slightly thicker side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that was on the slightly lower side. The slightly lower carbonation and slightly creamier body were quite nice for the toffee flavors of the brew with them furthermore accentuating the hop flavors, making them stand out more than they typically would have.
Overall – A rather tasty brew overall. Flavorful and nicely hopped, yet still maintaining a very easy drinking taste.
