ACBF 2016. Poured a clear amber color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of artificial mango, tropical fruit, and caramel malt. Taste of artificial mango, harsh citrus bitterness, grass, and caramel malt. djd07 (15282) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Can thanks to Rainer. Pours a clear orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is mango amd tropical fruit. Medium mouth, bitter, mango, pine, light finish. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2016
Bomber poured into a snifter.
3.25 A: Murky dark orange color. Two fingers of frothy beige-ish head. Retention is about average and one finger of spotty lacing is left.
3.75 S: Lots of mango and cantaloupe to start. Papaya underneath. The hops also give a pleasant sugariness. Bready malts and yeast. Mainly clean, but a bit of a vegetal component in there as well. Still, overall it’s pretty good.
3.75 T: Mild-moderate bitterness. Again sugary hops and plenty of mango, papaya, and cantaloupe. I’m not picking up the off-flavors in the taste, so good there. Booze is well hidden and malts are bready and biscuity.
4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Active spritziness to it with a mild creaminess.
3.75 D: Pretty good beer, but it seems pretty hard to not make a good beer with citra.

Bomber. Pours a clear gold with lots of carbonation streams rising and a dense off-white head. Aromas are mango and honey with a bit of bread to them. Flavor is really heavy on mango for the first sip and then it seems to disappear. I pick it up a couple of times after that, but the beer seems dominated by a doughy malt presence with some honey sweetness and a bit of oranges and a hint of bristly pine. It has a nice bitterness to it, but the hops don’t really shine or provide a strong direction and the mango seems washed out. It’s decent enough, but it would be awesome if they could get it to "pop" just a bit more. jsporrer (1058) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2016
On tap @ Dorothy 6. Pours a bright straw yellow with a thin white head. Nice Pine resin aroma that isn’t too overpowering with just a hint of citrus. Feels pretty thin and fairly smooth with just a touch of bitterness. Not a lot of hop bite and not much fruit flavor. I didn’t taste any mango at all. It could have been a little more balanced. Fairly smooth finish but still some bitterness and no citrus or mango. Pretty ordinary for a monster.
