Bottle 65 cl. Pours a clear black with a reddish/burgundy tint and a creamy, beige head. Very sweet vanilla note in the nose, overpowering most of the roast. Had the beer been sweet it would’ve been overwhelmingly cloying, but fortunately the base is super dry, roasty and almost a little thin in spite of the ABV. It has some egg nogg spicy edge to it, but it’s mostly the vanilla that comes through. 260816 JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Bottle shared by a friend. Black pour with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon and sweetness. Malty flavor with sweet cream and cinnamon accents before a roasty finish. voyageurmike (445) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Poured into a tulip glass from a bomber bought at Acme. Dark brown, opaque, medium bodied. Aroma has chocolate and nutmeg, taste mainly just chocolate. The finish is where "egg nog" spices kick in, not all that nicely. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, lactose, fig and caramel. Taste is sweet all the way through. Medium bodied with thin mouth feel. Solid stout for Christmas. AirForceHops (7308) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 26, 2015
22 oz bottle in a trade with reggiedunlop, thanks Kerry! Aroma really does smell like egg nog! Nutmeg, cinnamon and milk like hints. Interesting ...

Well, the flavor is indeed similar to an egg nog. The nutmeg and cinnamon are here without a doubt. But I will say I wish it had more chocolate and roast to go with the spice. Because honestly, it’s mostly spice. The body and carbonation is good so it is almost where it should be. Just want a little more stout with my egg nog.
Bomber shared by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is big time lactose, vanilla, nutmeg. Flavor is dark chocolate, nutmeg. There’s dark chocolate and an oaky bitterness in the finish. Chalumeaux (1558) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops dark black reddish pour with a thin brown head. Aromas of cinnamon brown suugar and coffee. Taste is creamy with a nice eggnog flavor with a somewhat medicinal finish. AdamChandler (5081) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 26, 2015
good thick pour, not quite oily and does let in some light but it’s certainly a dark beer with reddish hues on the edges. No head. Smells great. cinnamon, brown sugar, coffee. Nice sweetness taste, thin body, it honestly has straight up egg nog taste. maybe a bit too herbal at the finish. magsinva (1322) - Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2015
Bottle - This one is a solid stout, but it’s too bitter coffee to be called an eggnog stout. Disappointed. DiarmaidBHK (5078) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2015
Bottle from Weis Lewisburg. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Big roasted malt notes on the nose with a hint of sweetness. It's pretty much the same on the tongue as it is on the tongue. Not getting much eggnog influence. Finish lingers a bit. Not my favorite example of the style.
