4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This IPA pours very clear for the style and has a rich brass coloring. The lacing is solid and peristent. The nose is mild and has a fairly distinct lager aroma to it. This could possibly have rye in it. The taste is smooth and hoppy without being too strong nor too weak. I thnk this is a pretty good rendition of the style. I look forward to the remaining four I have left. Our co-op at work brought this beer back for me from Springfield.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Wasn’t crazy about this one. Poured a light yellow color with a very grassy nose. Tasted very piney and bitter with a bread flavor in there somewhere. Finish was very soapy. Decent attempt, but their pale ale is so much better!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour is golden yellow with a sticky white head....smell is lightly citric yet still sweet...very toasty malty sweetness up front, but some nice juicy hop flavor coming out...not bitterness, flavor...very good and well balanced!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is grassy and hay-like.
Taste is citrus and grassy with a lingering bitterness.
This seems more like an English IPA, it is not overdone, the aroma is not overwhelmingly hoppy- just citrus and herbal notes.
Decent, but nothing overwhelmingly great.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled at the brewpub. Light color. Floral nose with little hop presence. Bitter flavor with a very low IBU/hop profile, even lower than a pale ale. Not like an English IPA either. Summerish type beer that is not a typical IPA-not sure where they’re going with this one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Apparently, they’ve gotten better with this recipe since last rating. Pours a coppery-gold, lots of lacing from an almost non-existent head. Aroma is hoopy, big cascade-y aroma, pine trees, wood esters. Flavor is very clean, initial hop sweetness trampled by a blast of pine needles, very dry overall, with a long, bitter finish. Very good as IPA’s go.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
If it wasn't for the pale, this would be the worst entry at the pub. Oh, it has more flavor than some of their other brews, but "a lot" of flavor doesn't mean "good". This one seems chemical and acidic rather than hoppy, hard edges on a thin body, like a shrill, waiflike supermodel.
