Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice roastnwitha good amount of coffee mixed in. Flavor is again decent mix of roasted malt and coffee. The coffee is not overpowering so those not high on coffee flavor would probably enjoy this. A well made stout with a decent mix of malt and coffee.

A pleasing balance of coffee to stout In a medium body. I love stout season. A nice malt backbone holds it together.

Very nice coffee aroma. Taste is a little weaker, but again very true to coffee. I was surprised to see this labeled as a sweet stout.

On tap at the brewery. It poured a dark brown almost black color with a tan head. The aroma was of fresh-brewed coffee with some earthy notes. The taste was of coffee, cocoa and a hint of tobacco. The coffee was not overwhelming, a very balanced beer.

Appearance: pours with a medium to large tan head, the beer is an opaque black color, head dissipates quickly Aroma: coffee, dark roasted malt, hints of pine Taste: strong bitter black coffee, average bitter finish, not much chocolate Palate: soft carbonation, medium mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: I really like this stout, has a very strong coffee character throughout the Aroma and taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s quite possible to forget you are drinking a beer sometimes with this brew. An excellent night-cap or Christmas morning beer!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, maple, and espresso. Flavor retains the coffee notes quite well, also with sweet and roasted malt. Great coffee presence! Yum! 8/4/8/4/14 (3.8/5)
