Cask at the Wheatsheaf, Tattingstone. Pours almost clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of hop, citrus, peach, grass and hay. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, average to soft carbonation. Finish is dry, with lasting citrus.

Keg @ Ten Green Bottles, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Pale malt ruling the aroma, as well as the taste with brief citric and floral interludes. Touch biscuity. Harmless stuff really.

Cask. Aroma of red grapefruit and boiled sweets. Pours pale amber with thin white top yielding broken lacing. There’s a modicum of biscuit malt in with the citrus hops. The overall effect is summery with fruity flavours lingering. Pleasant enough.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear pale golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity of mango, lemon, grapefruit, some lime and subtle pine. Taste of pale, biscuity malts, mango, lemon, some grapefruit and slight pineapple. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A well hopped golden ale, fruity too. So refreshing and easy drinking.
