COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional.
A delicate, almost floral aroma with an initial fruitiness leading to a long, dry, biscuity finish. Brewed in the style of German white beers. Occasional beer - brewed to special order and available in the authentic cloudy version, or the more usual clear version. Cloudy Wheatbeer is suitable for vegans. The beer is brewed in the traditional continental style using wheat malt, Hersbrucker and Saaz hops, but given a "local" finish using Nottingham Ale yeast.

On cask at Arnold Machin (JDW), Newcastle under Lyme. Pours pale gold with white head. Decent English take on a German kristallweizen. Some banana, clove, cleansing. Decent effort.

jjsint (3121) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2013
Pungent, sour aroma. Refreshingly light but with too sour an aftertaste for my liking. A welcome if imperfect wheat beer.

imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2013
Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Hazy pale gold with no head. This was a bit dour, sweet, fruity with a boiled vegetable character. Quite poor unfortunately.

RichTheVillan (7858) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2012
Retro review from Spring 2012 Wetherspoons Beer festival; hazy straw colour some TCP in the taste. Not quite stepping up to the mark.
