On tap at the source. Pours a clear bright yellow with a nice thick small bead white head. Aroma is bready and grassy. Taste is sweet pale malt, bread dough and mown grass. Slight hop bitterness. Very good, for what’s basically a ML. That1Guy (2241) - Colorado, USA - JAN 24, 2016
Crushed with Jakebra. Biscuit aromas and more DMS. Could get through it, but it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. jandd1983 (4823) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Sampled at the brewpub. It poured a bright yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of malts and hops. The taste was also similar to the aroma. Nice. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Sampled on tap at Square One on 01/12. Pours a golden yellow color with white head. Straw, pils, alcohol flavors. Not one of my favorites. cubs (10746) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Tap @ Square One. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. Pretty heavy herbal/floral hoppy, grainy malty aroma. Fairly sweet pils malty, straw, herbal, somewhat earthy flavor. The flavor and aroma were really overpowering and off putting to me.

Draft at Square One. Pours a deep gold with a white head. Nose is quite clean, moderate sweetness from pilsner malt. Earthy and herbal/grassy hops. Noted alcohol. On tasting, really bitter. Clean malt, pilsner sweetness and a sharp alcohol note. Clean hop flavor on finish. Pretty dry for the style. Solid. musinj6 (510) - Dedham, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 10, 2012
Pours a light gold clear with small head. Bready malt aromas with lineup hops. Medium bodied. A little chewy. Small carbonation. Very long finish with well controlled bitterness. Good but not in the clasic pilsner sense. More of an ale. phaleslu (11181) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear, bright yellow gold with a small white head and lace. Aroma of crackers, pale malts, grass, hay, and paper. Flavor of pale, sweet, and bready malts, crackers, straw, cereal, and booze. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a malty, boozy mouthfeel. Not bad at all. Dogbrick (14521) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark golden-orange pour with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Piney hops aroma with notes of malt in the background. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character that has notes of pine and grainy malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitterness. Not necessarily what I would expect out of a "Double Pilsener" but it kind of works. Pretty good overall. MrRain (472) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 27, 2008
Draft at the brewery, served in a shaker. SODP pours clear and brass-colored with little to no head. The aroma is very subtle with a touch of sweet grains. The body is slightly soft as a Pilsener should be but the hop bill is most un-Pilsener like. The finish is long and grainy.
