12oz. Bottle (at 5.75%ABV per the bottle and the website).: Aroma of malt, Earth, and caramel. Poured deep amber in color with a small, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted around the edges. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, diacetyl, slight caramel, and a hint of hops. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, caramel, diacetyl finish. Not so hot, especially since it was very fresh. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 2, 2012
Flanagan’s. Bottle pours amber with a khaki head. Aroma shows caramel, nuts, and some grassy/earthy hops. Flavor is somewhat sweet with dominating notes of toffee, bread, and pine. Overall body is light to moderate, with a dry finish and balanced bitterness. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 26, 2012
(12oz bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, light pepper, nuts, florals, and grass. Flavor of caramel, bread, citrus, pine, and grass. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Bottled. Poured medium reddish-orange with a tall, creamy beige head. The aroma picked up sweet nutty malts with very light accents of cocoa powder and some herbal hops.. soapier as it warmed up.. not a lot to get excited about. The flavor found nutty notes and caramel at the core.. more of a hop presence than the nose suggested, with pine and some fruity bitterness laced throughout.. a little sour plus some dank bitterness on the finish.. meh. Medium-bodied and rather sharp on the palate.. the dryhopping worked OK, but I don’t think it was a good base beer.

Clear medium copper with a beige head that sticks around. Fruity aroma with a decent amount of hops balancing out the malt. Clean tangy finish. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - FEB 28, 2012
The beer pours a medium to dark amber color with a small white head. The aroma is a strong mix of toffee and some pine hops, presumably from the cascade hopes used in the dry hopping process. The flavor is basically that of a very hoppy amber ale. I get a lot of toffee and tannic notes like you get in a glass of iced tea, as well as some pine flavor from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
