Not bad... A little hoppy with some citrus but not overpowering. I could drink this on occasion but it’s kinda the middle of the road beer for me. Nice copper pour to it.

12 oz bottle from Douglas88. Nose is caramel, floral and a bit of piney hops, and a hint of butterscotch. Clear rust color with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly bitter with plenty of caramel.

dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle from Kegs and Barrels. Pours a rich amber with a medium off white head. The aromas are dough, caramel, leather and earth. The mouthfeel is slightly sweet but dryish with a breadiness, medium body and medium carbonation. Cheers!

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2012 great med amber pour with thin headmalty aroma with piney hops Taste was of malts, carbonation, slightest amount of toffee or caramel at end. good hop kick at end. will try again re-rate 03/2011 bumped up a couple of notches - almost creamy and thick mouthfeel for an amber. hard to get better for an amber!!

SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - JAN 25, 2012
Bottle. Pours deep amber with beige head. Aroma has a great hop bouquet with notes of bright pine and citrus with a faint hint of nuttiness. Flavor has a refreshing touch of piney and citrus hopes with a nice, subtle caramel and nuttiness meshed in. Mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, nicely made brew!

nickd717 (4822) - San Francisco, California, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Draft. Slightly hazy amber color with a small whitish head.  Somewhat toasty aroma with a bit of toffee and some piney hops.  Nice flavor, great caramel and toffee with toast and piney hops.  Medium-bodied with average carbonation.  Nice amber ale overall, subtle but very enjoyable.

Gription79 (2893) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 25, 2011
12 ounce bottle. The aroma is loaded with fruity yeast and hop notes, the malts are sweet with caramel nuances. The flavor follows suit, starting with the fruitiness and finishing with a caramel sweetness.

jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 3, 2011
Pours a pretty reddish copper with a thin tan head mostly lasting. Nose is hoppy. Fairly creamy on the palate. Hop taste is most evident, smooth not bitter. Muted malt notes are also evident. A good beer but not top tier. Pairs well with hot pastrami and swiss cheese on rye bread.

hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2011
