Pours up a rich crystal clear dark amber colored body with a hefty frothy tan-colored head with good retention and lacing effects. Warm aromas of grains, malts, toffee, vanilla, and melted caramel with a subtle hint of hops. The flavors are nicely complex with sweet malts, just a touch of a hoppy bite, with a noticeable smoothness like warm caramel. Medium-bodied, ease of drinkability, well-balanced, and a sweet, clean finish. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - SEP 11, 2011
12oz bottle at Papago. Copper color pour with a foamy head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and pine and citrus hops. Flavor is pretty standard for an amber, some nice light roasty malt and a decent amount of citrus hop bitterness. Not bad. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 9, 2011
An intense aroma of hops and caramel and malts. Wow, this way better than I expected. Some hops, but a lot of malt flavor battling it out, mostly grassy versus caramel. Overall, good stuff I’d get again. Smooth and creamy finish, one of the best ambers I’ve ever had. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2011

Bottle from Douglas. Pours a crystal clear amber sporting a large dense peach hued head. Caramelly nose, a touch of grilled orange, sparkling crystally hops, and a little butter. Balanced, slightly caramelly malt flavors with a touch of hops around the edges..light bodied and fairly light all around...totally the opposite of my style but light and refreshing for the summer, I suppose. Nothing offensive here. Always glad to try new squatters beers. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2010
