A best-of-breed English Style Summer Ale, this tail-wagger’s already fetched a real name for itself in competition. Our premium barley rolls over with domestic and imported Golding hops for a delicate bitterness and cold, wet nose.

Very nice classic golden ale. Pale and hoppy with a bitterness that is refreshing.

Rating #2621 - 2016.06.24 - Draught at Squatters in SLC. Clear golden pour with a fairly frothy head. Low-medium carbonation. Aroma is grassy, hint of sweet malt. Taste is more of the same, a plain jane weak golden ale with very little hop profile to speak of. Bland and uninspired.

12 oz single bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits - Council Bluffs (Madison Ave). Clear yellow appearance with a white head. Mild aroma of grains, light hops and a touch of fruitiness. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and a touch of bitterness. Light body with a slight watery feel. Just OK overall.

Golden draft pour. Honey and hibiscus flavor. It's an easy beer to drink. Not my style though.

Cajun (539) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - SEP 22, 2016
Bottle - Pours hazy gold with fizzy white head that thinned out. Smell of pale malt, lemon, hay. Flavors of the same, but additionally a hint of non-citrus fruit to go with that hint of lemon. Mild hops finish.

mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2016
On tap at Squatters, pours a clear copper with a tiny head. Aroma brings out light biscuity notes, not much else. Flavour brings out light biscuity malt and subdued hoppiness. Weak and uninteresting, but okay.

altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JUL 5, 2016
[Dec 28 2015] Bottle at Snowbird Ski Resort. Nice golden body with thin head. Nose is faint of hops. Taste hops and a bit subdued. Easy enough.

Chasing Tail has a thick, off-white, creamy head, a hazy, golden appearance, with ascending bubbles and low-level lacing left behind. The aroma is of pungent sourdough, a full, sweet nose of malt, and a touch of citrus. Taste is of those elements, with a mild hop bitterness and a shade of citrus. Mouthfeel is soft and medium, and Chasing Tail finishes dry and highly drinkable. RJT

deyholla (12038) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 30, 2015
On tap at Squatters airport location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of earthy flora and straw with a grain backbone. Flavor has straw and sweet grain with a slight corn note supporting.

Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - SEP 18, 2015
bottle, a bit on the grainy side. This one is nice and great, extra points i want working outside all day in Arizona doing Man Shit, and needed a light and refreshing beer. This one hit the spot perfectly.
