This rich, Northwest-style Pale Ale is a rare feat of balance: unfiltered, dry-hopped to 40 IBUs, and deliciously sessionable. Groove on this two-time Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winner (2001 and 2002 Bitter Category). It really smoothes out the bumps.

My reviews keep disappearing.....Ill make this brief.

Pours cloudy orange. Cream colored head, good retention, gold lacing.

Aroma is orange peel and orange. Hop oil and grapefruit.

Taste is more grapefruit than orange. Well balanced. Hop oil lingering bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light to medium. Bitterness wins out with the lingering hop oil. Finishes dry and mellow.

Overall, its a simple berr, but well done. Easy drinking. I would recommend it, and would buy it again.

Stay review...stay.....

Bottle at BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and grass. Medium body, citrus, grass, earth malt, light bitterness, good.

A bit trashy and thin. Bready malt, dry hops, slight bitterness. The finish fades away quickly. Meh.

On tap at Squatters, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is well-balanced, with a nice piney hop quality and dry biscuity malt. Bland and lifeless, but its okay.

So, there is no reason for a full suspension of your disbelief! No, indeed, believe it: Blatz rules forever and ever, amen. This beer, not so much. But I have tasted worse.....think Strohs.

0,33 l can. Murky flat orange in the glass. One finger foamy white head. Floral hopy nose. Starts with a hopy bitterness, very floral, some citrus, later more dusty grain. Increasing malt to the end. Nice one.

(Squatters Full Suspension Pale Ale) At t Pleintje, Hengelo, I didnt pay attention but I think came from a bottle. Pale orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with one finger of kind of thin, white head on top, good retention though and it left a nice lacing behind. Aroma of malts, light caramel, straw. Taste is mildly bitter with caramel, malts, straw, old grass, metallic notes. Medium thin bod, carbonation on the high side. Decent.
