Rating #2620 - 2016.06.24 - Draught at Squatters in SLC. Golden pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly. hops are very fragrant with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and bitter hops on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Good.

Can. Hazed yellow pour, with an off white head. Bready, sweet, lightly bitter, notes of citrus, and caramel. I’m not liking it very much, not much hops.

My reviews keep disappearing.....I’ll make this brief.

Pours cloudy orange. Cream colored head, good retention, gold lacing.

Aroma is orange peel and orange. Hop oil and grapefruit.

Taste is more grapefruit than orange. Well balanced. Hop oil lingering bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light to medium. Bitterness wins out with the lingering hop oil. Finishes dry and mellow.

Overall, it’s a simple berr, but well done. Easy drinking. I would recommend it, and would buy it again.

Stay review...stay.....

A bit trashy and thin. Bready malt, dry hops, slight bitterness. The finish fades away quickly. Meh.

On tap at Squatters, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is well-balanced, with a nice piney hop quality and dry biscuity malt. Bland and lifeless, but it’s okay.

So, there is no reason for a full suspension of your disbelief! No, indeed, believe it: Blatz rules forever and ever, amen. This beer, not so much. But I have tasted worse.....think Strohs’.
