At Cowboy’s Smokehouse, Panguitch. Pours hazy golden with a small, foamy, white head. The rather weak aroma contains wheat, grain, citrus and light clove. It tastes light sweet and light bitter with a medium long grainy finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Lacking some real banana in the aroma. Unconvincing.

Optisch prima Weizen, leicht trüb. In der Nase ganz schwach. Im Trunk leicht malzig, weder Nelke noch Banane. Im Abgang wässrig. Sehr schwaches Weizen - Utah halt.

On tap at Squatters, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of wheat and a touch of cereal malt sweetness. Flavour brings out moderate fruity esters and dry wheaty notes. Not especially dry but pretty uninteresting. Meh.

[Dec 28 2015] Bottle at Snowbird Ski Resort. Nice golden body with slight head. Nose is floral, wheaty, spicy. Taste similar of malts, bread, some lemon and spices. Also spicy in the finish.

Hazy yellow, white head. Nice and smooth, almost creamy, wheat, banana, doughy malts.

appearance: mostly clear deep gold, short creamy white head, minimal lacing. aroma: lemon, some grass, maybe a little pepper, toasted wheat. taste: toasted wheat bread, honey, lemon, white pepper, grass, sweet banana and caramel. finish: slightly sweet and spicy notes linger a bit. notes: Didn’t much care for it upon first sip, but the more I had of it the more I liked it. I don’t think I could categorize it as a true hefeweizen, but as an American Wheat (non-hoppy), it ain’t bad at all. Draught at the Marriott in Salt Lake City, Utah.

bottle, again, this one is off, bitter and aspirin, too light on wheat flavors, minimal yeast characteristics, high carb. Not enjoyable.

snoworsummer (5746) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 9, 2015
Draft at the SLC Squatters. Pours almost clear gold with a fizzy off white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like tastes like light citrus, lemon, wheat, grass. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like corn, wheat, and lemony citrus.
