I’m starting to think that Footbalm hates me since he keeps sending thes sort of thing to me. Nawwww, It’s not that bad...
Dark goldy amber like colour, Little bit of yeast and spice on the nose, semi sweet with a citrus fruity taste, some hop is present. Pretty decent overall, but not nearly as cool as the label. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 14, 2010
From bottle on several different occasions. Hazy deep amber gold pour with a lively head that lasts and leaves drippy lace. Loaded with sweet fruit, spice, yeast and a nice maltiness. A very nice brew that will only get better with time. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2010
Bottle at LS X. Hazy golden with a large white head on it. Aroma is a little sweet with a good whiff of yeasty spice. Tastes sweet and a bit bready, with the characteristic spicy coriander flavor from the yeast. Has some fruity characteristics to it, some light white grape and banana, and maybe a bit of orange. One of the better things to come from Utah. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2010
750, capped. thanks, mike! slightly hazy light gold with loose white head and plenty of eggy lace. honey, floral notes, and some coriander on the nose. creamy medium body with lively carb. honey, floral, caramel, and candi sugar notes on the mid palate. mild sweet finish. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - FEB 21, 2010
bottle from THE superdave70 on 11/27/2009.
hazy burnt orange yellow with a small white head.
this smells very estery from a distance!... other aromas of bananas, oranges, bready yeast, caramel, spices, grass and herbs show up as well.
the palate is a really nice balance between the yeasty richness and dry spiciness. the flavor is the same as the aroma’s characteristics/notes only richer.
its medium body is kept interesting with spritzy carbonation... yet it is soft... 7/4/8/3/16/3.8

A: Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. No retention or lace.
S: Aroma sort of grassy, earthy, with notes of dried fruit.
T: Nice fruity flavor with hints of earth, grass, and mild citrus. There is a nice blast of spice and Belgian yeast to round things out.
M: Light in body, zippy carbonation pretty enjoyable.

Bottle courtesy of a generous RB at tpd975’s throwdown in December, 2009. Pours a hazy yellow to golden with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of candy sugar, honey, caramel, hints of toffee. Flavor is about the same. Medium body with a pleasing sweet malt finish. Thanks to John for this bad boy!
Appearance: The carbonation really plays a strong role in this beer’s appearance . . . almost like poring a glass of champagne! Golden, bubbly, light and crisp looking.
Smell: Got a good amount of fruit notes on this one. Some citrus and very nice spice to it as well.
Taste:Very nice flavor, got some fruits again and definitely good warmth from the alcohol, but nothing overpowering (despite it being quite high in ABV)
Mouthfeel & Drinkability: Love this beer. It’s deceptively drinkable despite the high alcohol content. You could easily drink this all night and get yourself into a lot of trouble by the end of the evening. The champagne yeast makes this every palatable and enjoyable.

Bottle at the Utah tasting. Pours out a dark cloudy gold almost amber with a small white head. Aroma of belg yeast, grapes, and the classic banana spice. Taste is more of the grape along with s little oak and more of the belg yeast. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 30, 2009
750ml shared by SuperDave70 at the Black Friday tasting – thanks Dave! Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. The nose is sweet malt, cloves and sour wheat. The taste is spice, banana, wheat, caramel malt and light hops. Lighter spritzy mouthfeel. Interesting brew.
