Wax topped bottle acquired @ brewpub. Banana, yeast, and spice in the nose. Cotton candy, honey, and spicey flavor...overly sugary, especially for the ABV. Somewhat syrupy. Glad to try it but not great. zathrus13 (1776) - Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA - OCT 5, 2009

750ml, black waxed, bottle acquired in trade with douglas88 (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy golden/yellow color with a large sized white head. Aromas of citrus/rinds, yeastiness, fruity, and some spiciness. Tastes of citrus, yeast, fruity, spciy, and a little bready. Lively body that left with a crisp and dry finish. Bottle from footbalm. Thanks Eric! Golden with a small foamy white head. Nose is slightly funky, a little citrus hops, and grassy. Flavor shows honey, citrus, esters, and some mild funky hints. Interesting brew but lacks complexity. emacgee (4675) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - SEP 26, 2009
Thanks turd for sharing. Pours a cloudy gold with orange hues and a 1-2 finger white head. The nose shows some citrus rind character, esters, very mild aroma, peach? Flavor shows some isoamyl acetate, spicy, mild yeast presence. Lacks prominent and distinguishable flavor and aroma. JasonG (776) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - SEP 23, 2009
750ml bottle - hand bottled, purchased from the new bottling line store. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with medium sized fluffy pure white head. Aroma has fruity esters, including pear and pineapple, as well as light honey, prickly pear cactus fruit. Flavor has bright carbonation, light notes of honey, apples, touch of bananna and pineapple. An occasional metallic note comes across. Palate is a bit watery. Finish is balanced. Overall this is just alright - a good brew, but a bit too estery for the style and doesn’t really have the Duvel-like notes I would expect, and the palate is a bit watery. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 20, 2009
