A birthday present from Brown Shugga Metzke! Thanks! Light amber with a thin white crown. Aroma is rather yeasty with toasted malts and light fruits. Taste is niddle-of-the-road with yeast, mild fruit and toasted malt. icelite (5) - Herriman, Utah, USA - SEP 1, 2013 does not count
Smells clean and fresh. Easy to drink with smooth frothy head and nice bubbles. Taste of citrus and herbs. Slight tang with crisp finish. Really like this one. Iphonephan (6989) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2013
From a 75 cl bottle shared in Fairplay, CO. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick white head. Banana aroma. Flavors of tropical fruits and toffee. Really tasty. Lupulucid (189) - - JUL 8, 2013
Hell must really like sweet beer. The aroma is of honey which is also on the palate. Sweetness dominates but there is plenty of flavor and a reasonable degree of complexity. This beer seems much lighter than the actual alcohol content but the added texture from alcohol is evident. If you like silky, sweet wheat beers, this is for you. Apple/cherry fruit, peppery, earthy yeast character. Sweet, light grainy malt flavor.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth fruity malt with light coriander and orange peels. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with coriander, orange peels, alcohol warmth, perfumey, very nice. drjay44 (3714) - Salida, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2013
25 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, very well retained white head, with extensive lacing, over a hazy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is light malts, with pear, hints of apple, hints of pepper....taste is slight sweet to start, then light pear, slight lemon, leading to a moderately dry spice finish.....mouth feel light of medium, alcohol hidden, carbonation adds clean acid. This is a very nice version of a Belgian Golden Strong. It has the huge, well retained head, with appropriate lacing, a flaw is the clarity. Aromas and flavors are both appropriate as is the mouth feel. BJCO 8/2/16/4/8 brisket (1) - Alabama, USA - MAY 16, 2013 does not count
22 oz bottle from brewpub in SLC. Date was half worn off, either 4.5 months or 0.5 months old.
Aroma: very mild standard strong Belgian ale smell, slightly yeasty.
Appearance: golden color with medium lacing.
Taste: good representation of a strong Belgian if a little mild. More breast than fruity.
Mouthfeel: heavy carbonation, but not sharp. Light bodied.
Overall: solid Belgian, good stylistically, fantastic for SLC.
