750 ml bottle via Secret Santa; gold fold with different label than the photo; pours clear dense gold with creamy white head lingering; faint spicy yeast, stale and sweet honey; some white sugar syrup and stale malt too; mildly boozy and syrupy on first sip; honey mainly with sweet malt, a little dough, stale sugar; drinks smooth and not overly sweet; medium body with a definite strength to it; quite yeasty in the mouthfeel but not spicy or anything like that; sweet candy syrup and honey malt overall; decent BGS

legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2012
Poured a very average slightly cloudy yellow with a thick head. Really, really average beer all said. No spice at all.

3.3
cmonster (1000) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 2, 2012
Bottled. Pours watery orange with a large white head of tight bubbles. Easy 4 on appearance. Good retention and lace. Nose is feathery yeast, and noteably dry. Light sweet flavor of dried grass. Tastes just like the aroma. Light body, prickly carbonation, and a dry finish. Minimal sweetness throughout. Good but lacking complexity and the yeast isn’t that compelling.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Bottle from Jennifer Gottlieb, the cutest woman on the planet. Pours a dense, thick cheddar orange with a freakin’ huge head of white. Aroma is field hay, barn must, and light flower bread. Flavor is buttery hay and berry wth subtle straw and musty grass notes. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Better than average, yes, but not spectacular.
