Hazy orange golden layered color/ white head. Dusty bready pale malt, mild candi sugar n spice aromas. Smooth light mouthfeel with avg co2. Lightly sweet candi sugar, bready pale malt flavors with some sweet spices--good. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Pours a golden yellow color with aroma of fruits. Taste is similar to a lambic with notes of fruit and alcohol throughout. Overall this beer is light for a strong ale. I’m glad I was able to sample one. drpimento (3578) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 8, 2011
Let this bottle warm a bit from the fridge. Poured with a large, foamy, frothy, fluffy, slightly thick, off white head that slowly settles and some lace. Color is a clear golden amber with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is yeast, hop, malt, spice, vineous. Flavor is a little on the sweet side with some bitterness and carbonic tang to balance. Body is a little soft, full, and carbonation is very good. Finish is like flavor and of medium length. This beer is virtually indistinguishable from the Belgians and super easy drinking. It’s not that it’s so unique in its characteristics as it is in its being so true to style. Great beer! cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - AUG 7, 2011
750 ml bottle from Bevmo - Pours a hazy golden color with a large off white head that lasted a bit. Light lacing. Aroma is esters and spice. Flavor is lightly toasted malt, herbal hops, esters, spice, and yeast. Medium body. A beer beer. dwyerpg (6078) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 5, 2011
A light saison-style aroma. Golden yellow with a huge thick creamy head. This is definitely Belgian-style but for some reason, it doesn’t sit right with me. A bit too grassy malty, but really like some sort of aluminum flavor, which is weird for a glass bottle. Quite disappointed to be honest.

Poured golden with a white, long lasting head with super tiny bubbles. Nose and taste had Belgian yeast, pears, apples, and pilsner malt sweetness. Finishes dry. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2011
750mL bottle. Poured crystal-clear medium golden with a tall, well-retained, sticky white head.. looked good in the glass. The aroma picked up lots of bananas, vanilla, and Belgian yeast over pale and grainy malts.. sweet and warm impression with what seemed like undertones of hot peppers (very faint). The flavor found honey and bready malts at the core, with spicy black pepper, dusty yeast, and a blend of bananas and vanilla around.. warm and sugary on the edges.. again a hint of pepper beneath.. too heavy-handed with the spices and sweetness for my liking. Medium-bodied with too much carbonation on the palate that impeded the flow.. long finish.. not bad, but it needed some subtlety to really be enjoyable. anders37 (26257) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2011
Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty finish. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 21, 2010
Bottle: Pours a nice unfiltered yellow orange color with a big white head. The nose is spicy with lots of yeast and orange with a full and fruity apricot and light husky malt note. The flavor has a full body and a rich maltiness accented by the belgian yeasts. Candi sugar and citrus notes in the tail with a clean finish and a light lingering yeast note. Very nice. drfabulous (7818) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - DEC 15, 2010
750 thanks to douglas88. Pours light orange. Good carbonation. Sweet Belgian. Yeasty nose. Little bit of white grape in there. Nice.
