Sledutah (7795) - Utah, USA - SEP 21, 2010
750ml bottle (3/09) from Squatters dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 21, 2010
Appearance: Pours clear golden with a nice big foamy white head and lots of lacing in the glass
Aroma: Barnyard, grassy and lemon
Taste: Sweet malts, Belgian candy, yeast and some bitterness in the finish
Nice Belgian Strong. Crisp, clean and drinkable. Enjoyable.
Thanks to Superdave!! Bottle pours gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is fruity with honey, wheat bread, white pepper, and alcohol. Flavor shows the same with some additional lemon, pear, and yeasty goodness. Overall body is moderate, lightly sweet, and finishes dry with some nice warming alcohol. Another pretty solid, tasty brew from squatters. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 15, 2010
Superdave! Rich golden pour with a nice white head. Sweet aroma of honey, alcohol, godlen raisins. Flavor is yeasty, wheat, light spice, some warming alcohol. Very nice. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2010
Nose is not too assertive. Notes of bread, wheat, a touch of dust, light spice, pepper, and a little fruitiness. Pours golden orange with great head and lace. The flavor is a mixture of light bread and wheat, soft spices, a little sweet, light fruity yeast, and a hint of alcohol in the finish. Medium carbonation, light hints of alcohol, nicely balanced, rather easy to drink all things considered.

Bottle at the Shenandoah Throwdown. Pours a hazy milky yellow with a thin white head. Musky wheat and citrus. Lemony, more sweet citrus. Candy and pears. Light musky hops on the finish. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 29, 2010
Sampled at Shenandoah Throwdown. Was blackout at this point but apparently I really liked this beer. Poured a cloudy, glowing yellow with a giant, rocky, off-white head that had insane retention and lace. Lemon, citrus peel, perfumey hops, candi sugar, apricot in the nose. Taste is a bit boozy, sticky sweetness, caramel apple, candi sugar-forward with grassy/dried hops trying to balance. Still yummy. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Gold in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of yeast and grain with a spicy bite. Taste is of banana, spices and grain. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAY 6, 2010

Hazy orange color thin head with a light Belgian aroma. Strong Belgian I think not. Light malt flavor with subtle to very light spice and flavors. I felt this beer was just under done. Very mild way to mild for a Strong.

Pours clear golden with a big fluffy white head that recedes quickly to a soapy swirl and small collar leaving some delicate lacing along the sides.
Aroma is one part earthy and one part sweet fruits. There is a herbal yeasty spiciness up front which melds nicely with pears and green apples.
The sweet fruits are still there in the taste but the herbs and spices are more prevalent than in the aroma and leave a dry woody finish at the end.
The mouthfeel is probably a little light for the style with a huge carbonation that doesn’t help much given the slightly watery body.
It’s a solid effort from Squatters and though it’s not world class it’s drinkable with a highly earthy character.
