Draft. Aroma is dank hops. Appearance a golden bronze. Taste is hoppy, but with a bright off hop taste. Palate is bitter hops. Overall, a decent ipa. That's about it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Impressive. Pours a medium amber-orange with a so-so head that quickly dissipates. Aromas:caramel, roasty, spruce, dough, vanilla, and some alcohol. Balanced taste: sweet/bitter and very little sour. Clean finish. NICE!

Bottle poured into goblet. Hazy amber with a thin white head that lingers on the edge. White soapy lacing clings lightly down the glass. Smells of citrus, hops and maybe light honey. Taste is the same with a long bitter hops finish. Solid double IPA.

Got in a trade with swingracex. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/12/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, lemon zest, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, light honey, and light bread. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and balance of hop and malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, bread, and light honey. Fair amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, light pine, caramel, and bread on the finish for a good bit. Very nice flavor balance of hops and malt sweetness; with good complexity and zero cloying flavor after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good double IPA. Good balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

Pour from bottle. Cloudy copper color with 2 finger white head that disappears into lacing. Aroma is sweet and tangy, lime, grassy. Taste is peach and pear hoppiness, light toast on the malt body, Vanilla sweetness.

Bottle pour, small white head with decent retention and lacing. Light aroma is slightly sweet and floral. Flavor is hop-forward tropical-fruit, not overly bitter with a solid malt base that masks the gravity but doesn't overpower the hop flavor. A well-balanced tasty brew. ---Rated whilst imbibing

Hop aroma is pretty limited, not a huge waft like some beers. Cloudy golden yellow with slight brown/orange tinge. Taste is sweet, honeyed. Lots of hop flavor, strong but not overpowering bitterness, lightly lingers. Very drinkable, alcohol not very apparent. Light back-flavor that I pick up as a peachy note, I had a similar note from US-05 yeast in a beer I just recently brewed. Interesting. Very nice, I like this one.

Pour golden brown with white head. Good head retention and lacing. Fruity hop aroma. Lighter mouth feel for a Imperial. Citrus flavors... Light cracker malt flavor. Very good finish.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and resiny malts with a nice caramel maltiness. Flavor about the same. Average texture. Definitely a good IPA, but not the best Imperial IPA.

Great taste but not near as much hops as the aroma would lead to believe. More malty than hoppy. Not a bad double IPA but not the hop bomb I was expecting though. Still a good beer.
