Bottle acquired in Secret Santa. This pours a amber-gold color with a good thick frothy head. A notch of lace clings to the glass after each sip. The aroma is a fairly basic scent of pine, resin, and caramel. Going down this is silky smooth with a hefty sweet caramel backbone supporting a sharp resinous hop profile. The flavor has hints of citrus with a touch of grass. The finish is bitter and dry. Solid stuff.

Very light for a 9% abv. and only mild bitterness. The taste is pleasant, but somewhat lacking in depth/intensity. For the price and for the high alcohol content, this is a very good beer and I would get it again, but wouldnt necesarily recommend it as a beer you need to try.

12oz bottle from Wilkes and Lynn. Orange pour with a thin off-white and slight lacy stick. Aroma is sweet toasted malts. Tastes are earthy toasted malt, resiny grapefruit, orange, floral, syrupy sweet. Crisp and clean - little sweet for my DIPA tastes, but well done.

Great beer, especially for the price. For $8-9 for a six pack, its every bit as good as some $10+ four packs. A regular in my fridge.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with no head. Citrus bomb in aroma and flavor. Nice finish. Great IIPA!

A pretty smooth double IPA. It reminds me of something DFH might come out with. Tangerine and silky texture. Medium bitterness, well balanced.

Small glass at yardhouse. Thick white head, massive lacing, clear deep gold color. Piney/grapefruit nose. Heavy malt well-balanced with substantial aroma and understated bitterness. Thick mouthfeel and noticeable alcohol taste. Overall strong showing for a IIPA.
