3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of candied dried fruits, citrus, pine, and grapefruit. Apricots, toffee, lemondrops, all for flavors. Sticky sweet and a slightly watery mouthfeel. Well executed double IPA.
12 oz can. Pine floral. Generic hops. Medium bitterness for a double. Nothing special. But then again I bought it at a Walgreens on the Las Vegas strip. Carlisle (865) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2017
Draft. Pours amber with white head and substantial lacing. Fruit and some pine hops with some caramel and biscuit malt. pappabear (23) - Granbury, Texas, USA - NOV 26, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2017 Color is yellowish Amber. White head good lacing. Smells like s traditional IPA hops, mild citrus. Taste is ok at first but has a horrible after taste. I couldn't finish the glass. Would not recommend. Ernest (7887) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 1, 2017
Can. Head is initially average sized to large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot), with notes of butter, taffy, corn syrup, alcohol. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
A sloppy example...very thick, goopy, syrupy mouthfeel, overly sweet (thankfully low acid, though), and the aroma is offensive. Drain pour caliber. jeremyh70 (1115) - Missouri, USA - OCT 8, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2017 Balanced with equal parts caramel malt and piney/herbal hop flavor. Hides the 9% ABV well and drinks more like an IPA than a double.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear pale gold, with a fine-grained creamy off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, caramel, pine. Taste is caramel, tropical fruit, pine, orange notes, alcohol. Malty backbone. Warming finish. Good. Iznogud (4683) - CROATIA - AUG 12, 2017
Bottle, 355 ml from state liquor store, St George. Pours cloudy orange with medium white head. Moderate to heavy hoppiness, fruit, peach, pine, caramel malty backbone, moderate sweetness. Lasting dry bitter finish. Good. thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a pine hop with a strong caramel malt backbone. Flavor is pretty much all malt with very little hop. Everything I hate with some IPA’s can be found in this beer. Way too heavy malt bill. Hops that have faded or can’t stand up to the malt. The best by date on the bottom of the can is 10/27/17, there is no way that can be correct. This tastes poor in the first week of August in the middle of October this could actually be worse? The alcohol is hidden well, that’s all the good I can say about this. DrNosha (2832) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2017
12 oz Flasche. Hellbraunes Bier mit hellem Schaum. Pinie und Malz in dee Nase. Im Geschmack, Kräuter, Hopfen, Aprikose. Sehr schön bitter und cremig. ZodiacM (1350) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2017
LCI. Uit blik geschonken. Lekkere zoete en lichtbittere dipa, hoppig, fruitig met een prettige nasmaak, niet te bitter. Mooi in balans.
