Great double IPA. This is a big beer but drinks surprisingly easy. It’s sweetness really helps balance out the large amount of hops in this bottle. I would drink one of these any time

This is a double IPA that is true to the style. Deep amber/clear color with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, hemp, hop resin and pine. The hops come through and fill your palate with the bitter smooth flavor you expect from a double. This is a well balanced hop lovers beer and one of my go to brews.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 On tap at Angel’s Trumpet Ale House, San Diego; served in a tulip glass. Great lacing, decent hoppy aroma. Flavor is hop forward, of course, with a dry finish. Very drinkable, however. Creamy on the palate.

Bittery carmely choppy greatness. This beer resembled Lagunitas Maximumus with slightly less citrus notes. Coming in with 9% alcohol I loved this beer and would love to drink more in the future. Highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates a good IPA.

This is a nice subtle Double IPA. The hop character is nicely matched to wonderful maltiness. I taste a hint of caramel or butterscotch in the malt. Neither are overdone. This is a bier one could drink all night and not grow tired of. Very nice.

Bottle courtesy of douglas88. Pours mahogany with a lasting white head. Smells of pronounced pine, grapefruit, some floral hints, pineapple, some spicy hints, caramel. Tastes of resin, some spice, sweet citrus, a nice bitterness, lots of citrus, velvety mouthfeel. Unexpected and excellent!

Poured from 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy, slightly thick, burnt orange. Aroma is of hops and maybe some grains. For a Double IPA that advertises being 75 IBUs this beer is not too bitter at all! Slightly sweet with a small taste of alcohol. Medium body, thick texture, not very carbonated with a lasting aftertaste very good, i loved it!!

An all-time favorite. Darn near perfect Double IPA. Great hop aroma with great pour and at 9.0% packs just enough punch making you ready to go on a harvest yourself!

Enjoyed in a tulip glass, poured from a can. Aroma is floral, grass, citrus. Appearance orange, clear, minimal head. Taste is rich with hints of Tangerine. medium sweetness, lightly sour, lightly bitter. Palate is medium body, creamy, flat. Long finish. Overall a very enjoyable beer. Very drinkable, rich, almost amber rich flavor.

This is a delicious double IPA. Large amounts of hops make this a strong IPA which is what a double IPA should be.
