An orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of both hops and caramel - but it also has some notes of barnyard, which makes me wonder if it is a bit off. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and some Cascade fruit notes, leading to a hoppy bitter end. OK hoppiness, but nothing crazy.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2006
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Lovely flowery hop aroma. Rather light body completely dominated by great, flowery aroma hops that don’t leave any major bitterness. Very pure and straight IPA. 270106

Blond color. Excellent aroma, fruity (apricots, pineapple…). Too thin mouthfeel, with a pleasant resiny bitterness.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2005 Bottle at GBBF Golden colour, good berry fruit and good hops with lots of citrus, only slightly sweetish and not as overpowering as some of the other American IPAs we had today. Very very nice and extremely drinkable

mcberko (18082) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 10, 2012
12 oz. bottle at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of piney hops that dominates with just enough malt to back. Flavour of piney hops, some caramel malt to back, with a fairly dry mouthfeel. Standard, but well-made IPA. Good.

Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 24, 2011
Dull gold-beige. The aroma is a mix of limey citrus and stale hops. Earthy taste, quite stale, oxidized. Really this cannot be in good form. I guess they (or their NM distributor) thought using a beer fest as a dumping ground was a good idea. Er, no, that’s where people go to form opinions about your beer.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours light orange amber with off white head. Nose/taste of apricot, bready malts, caramel, resin, pine and light grapefruit rinds. Lightish body.
