Thanks to hopdiggitydog for sharing. Pours a hazy amber with a bubbly off white head. Aroma of burnt buttered sugary popcorn. Flavor of the same, really bad okt and sweet. Yuck. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2009
18oz bottle acquired in trade with douglas88 (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of nuttiness, earhty, toasty, caramel and buttered popcorn that started drowning everything out. Tastes of the same butteriness. Sour, sour finish. Something was off with this.... thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2009
( 18oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear amber with nice bubbles and great lacing. Nose is faint but sweet, taste is butterscotch, light toasted grains, with a sweet buttery/oily finish. Quite good for a style I typically dislike. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 30, 2009
Small handle accented swing top growler courtesy of douglas88. Pours clear copper with some gold edges and thin white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and a bit of caramel, dates, prunes and yeasty spice. The flavor is much the same with a mix of caramel, dates, plums, apricots and spice. Pretty sweet overall and picking up the standard notes for the style that I can’t always discern. travita (4985) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 27, 2009
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is butterscotch, malts, caramel, and a little weak. The taste is the same as the smell. The look is golden in color with an off white head.

Thanks to our Utah connection, IBrew2or3. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is malt, lager, corn, and sugar. Flavor is same with light malt and light to medium body. Oktoberfest is not my style, but this is a decent beer. mikey (503) - farmington, Utah, USA - OCT 3, 2009
At the SLC brewpub. Pours a warm orange brown color with a firm, creamy white head. The nose is full of clean toasty malts with a bit of subtle nutty character. The taste starts with lots of crisp, smokey malts, biscuit tones and a good citrusy hop twang. Vanilla, orange peel and a spices lingering towards the finish. The bitter hops meld with a slight malt smokiness into the after taste. Very well balanced and highly drinkable with an ABV of 5.5%. This is a great example of what Oktoberfest biers are all about.
