Bottled. Golden colour. Soapy hop aroma. Dry with rounded mouthfeel. An unfortunate hint of green apples distracts. Short salty finish. A fair attempt on brewing a pilsener, but not entirely succesful. Real good pilseners are very hard to come by. mcberko (17840) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2016
On tap at Squatters, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassy hoppiness and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is only lightly hopped, with dry biscuity malt. Very bland, but clean and drinkable. Meh. Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 20, 2005
Golden-straw colour; rather hazy; long-lasting head; slow, small bubbles. Fresh aroma of herbaceous hops, doughy yeast and fresh bready malts. Cheers for not using the cliched noble varieties - as good as they can be it gets dull after a few hundred pilsners. A little bit of marshmallowy maltiness underpins a moderately (~32 IBUs) bitter palate. Finish is a little quick. There is an unplesant mineral note but generally a pretty good pils, one of the better ones in the US. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 20, 2015
On tap @ Squatters. Clear golden pour with white foam. Crackery and bready malts dominate. Has kind of a corn flakes sweetness to it. Mild floral hops, a bit of soap, and perhaps chalk. Lemony, tangy finish to the flavor along with some husky bitterness. Not terribly enjoyable. Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 5, 2009
Draft sample at Salt Lake airport pub.
Poured clear amber color with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate grassy hop aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

(Draft) Pours a clear pale bodybody with a moderate white head. Your typical American pilsner. hopdog (12549) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2007
12oz bottle acquired in trade with hellbilly (thanks!). Poured a lighter and hazy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains, grass, and corn. Tastes of grass, grain, and lightly spicey. Thinner body. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 22, 2007
on tap-pours a white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is light continental (saaz) hops. Taste is light continental (saaz) hops-aromatic and floral, secondary grain. Crisp and sweet. Nice. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"nice interpretation of a classic pils. the stupid Utah 4% rule doesnt really hurt this brew like a couple of the others. looks a little watery, but comes across crisp and clean, grassy, floral and a tiny bit sweet. decent summer brew."
