Poured from a growler. This is a fantastic beer! Fruity, bready, slightest hint of sulfur, sweet pilsner malt. Very easy drinking. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - MAR 6, 2011
on tap in slc on 7/22/10.
golden with a white head and decent spotty lacing.
it smells and tastes of caramel/toffee, lager-y yeastiness, wood, earthy spices and a little citrus.
medium bodied. refreshingly easy to drink because of the tingly hops and sharp carbonation. again, kinda meh. but, i could drink a lot of it. 6/3/6/3/13/3.1 oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2010
Pours a nice reddish orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops and sweet malts. Flavor starts nice crisp bitter hop and then mellows to a nice malt.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear copper-brown color with a moderate off-white head that hung around for a while and left some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of soft caramel, bready malts, some grassy hops, and a faint fruitiness. Smooth, lightly sweet entry leads into a nice malty character with hints of caramel, light toffee, and bread that dominate for the majority of the time before subsiding into a crisp, lightly bitter grassy hoppiness that lingered into the finish. Light, crisp carbonation that works well allowing the flavors to come out while keeping the beer light and drinkable. Overall, a really simple, really good beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. It certainly isn’t crazy or off the wall in any way, it’s just dang good. Sledutah (7789) - Utah, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Draft @ brewpub in SLC Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - OCT 17, 2009
Appearance: dark copper with a white head and lots of lace left in the glass.
Aroma: Banana flavors and malt
Taste: Roasted malt that is slightly grainy. The finish is clean, leaving a malt sour taste in your mouth
Overall this is a very good and clean beer.
Deep amber with a nice head. Soft on the tongue. Low to medium carbonation. Toasty malts had a gentle sweetness, with a hint of faint toffee. Slight sourness melded well with the bitterness. Grassy and lemony finish. Not too shabby. Hawksfan17 (890) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Caramel nose on this malty brew. Brown color matches the flavor. Crisp and smooth as most of their selection seems to be. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUL 13, 2009
On tap at SLC location. Color was an amber to orange. Aroma was light; with some biscuit malt, bread and caramel. Flavor of toasted malt, bread and not much else. Not much sweetness, or really anything else.
