"not a style i’m crazy about, although i’ve had one or two really good ones. this is not one of them. there’s just nothing special that this beer brings to the table. not enough going on for me." deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 30, 2015
On tap at Squatters airport. Pours a clear Amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has noted of grain supported by straw and a hint of grass. Flavor has grains and straw with a bit of hay underlying. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2007
Tap at the downtown location SLC. Copper coloured brew with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma. Lots of Vienna malt and a bit of biscuity sweetness. Quite creamy and full-bodied texture. Low bitternes with a bit of diacetyl. Not super objectionable and it fades through the glass. Pretty solid. douglas88 (9789) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 15, 2008
On tap at the SLC brewpub. Pours a dark amber with a thick white head. The aroma is grainy and light roasted malt. The taste is bready, also some lightly toasted malts and a hop finish. I also taste some apples, this beer is like a Fall day. Pretty good. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 3, 2008
Poured on tap @ Squatter’s Brewpub in SLC. It has a copper body with thin white head. The aroma is nutty and grainy malts and not much else. The nose is a bit on the light side. The taste is rich fresh Munich grain malts with some biscuit and crystal like malts added in. It ends a bit dry with a touch of nuttiness and toffee. A mildly spicy hoppiness carries along throughout the flavor. Nice balance medley of flavors.

Appearance: dark copper with a white head and lots of lace left in the glass.
Aroma: Banana flavors and malt
Taste: Roasted malt that is slightly grainy. The finish is clean, leaving a malt sour taste in your mouth
Overall this is a very good and clean beer.
Aroma is malts and fruit/fruit bubblegum. The flavor is fruit/fruit bubblegum, toasted malts and a slightly dry/bitter finish. Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 29, 2003

On Tap – Clear clean golden color. A deep malt lager aroma and flavor this was a decent lager. Had a very dry finish and was also easy to drink for a hot day.
A very straight forward lager. Notes of hops and nuts in the aroma, a balanced flavor and a clean finish. This would be my lager of choice in Utah, go 3.2% alcohol laws, I could drink 30 of these!
