There’s a reason this won a gold medal at the GABF. This is a superb beer. Probably the best Vienna lager I’ve had. The caramel malts are very apparent, yet restrained. Another good Oktoberfest style beer. Has plenty of good sweat malty flavor not hoppy and bitter taste good.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear copper-brown color with a moderate off-white head that hung around for a while and left some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of soft caramel, bready malts, some grassy hops, and a faint fruitiness. Smooth, lightly sweet entry leads into a nice malty character with hints of caramel, light toffee, and bread that dominate for the majority of the time before subsiding into a crisp, lightly bitter grassy hoppiness that lingered into the finish. Light, crisp carbonation that works well allowing the flavors to come out while keeping the beer light and drinkable. Overall, a really simple, really good beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. Poured on tap @ Squatter’s Brewpub in SLC. It has a copper body with thin white head. The aroma is nutty and grainy malts and not much else. The nose is a bit on the light side. The taste is rich fresh Munich grain malts with some biscuit and crystal like malts added in. It ends a bit dry with a touch of nuttiness and toffee. Appearance: dark copper with a white head and lots of lace left in the glass.
Aroma: Banana flavors and malt
Taste: Roasted malt that is slightly grainy. The finish is clean, leaving a malt sour taste in your mouth
Overall this is a very good and clean beer.

Clear red-orange pour with a foamy light-tan head. Appealing bready nose, again bread and light caramel with a well-balanced dry snap from the hops coming along late. Refreshing light mouthfeel is quite appropriate for the 4% ABV. Quite clean, quite tasty.
