Natural apricot flavour is married to barley and wheat malts to give St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale its uniquely delicious, subtly sweet taste. A natural, delightfully refreshing choice for adventurous palates that appreciate a light ale with a playful twist.

Well, I will say this - there are apricots in this beer! The nose is apricots and fruit juice. Apricots lead the taste profile as well, supported by lemon juice, candied fruit, a hint of bubble gum and some corn syrop. Sweet, for sure, but not obnoxiously so.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2015
Sampled from a 473 ml can this beer poured a vibrant golden color with an enormous creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweetish with a bit of apricot jam. The flavor was tangy, sweetish, bready and had an apricot jam note. Medium length finish. Off flavors came out as it warmed. Medium body. Ok.

Surprising amount of real apricot. I was expecting a magic hat number 9 with a fake apricot taste. light with a powerful refreshing apricot twist

Transparent golden orange hue with minimal head. Pronounced olfaction consisting of apricots, tropical fruits, mild hops, wheat, and slight tartness. Light bodied and silky. Easily the most potently apricot flavoured ale I’ve had the pleasure to experience. Various other tropical fruits, hops, caramel, wheat, and a crisp finish complement this delicious beer.

BOTTLE. Pours see through gold with solid white head.. Fruity nose with apricot most dominant, vanilla ice cream.. Apricot overshadows the usual wheat vibe, still it has a better finish, crisp up front with creamy textured back end.. Sourced Cape Cellars

Heavy apricot aroma, but in a good way. Rich Amber color. Solid apricot flavor but not too overpowering. Smooth and drinkable.

4-pack of 16 oz cans from Bullfrog Wine & Spirits. Gold appearance with a white head and active carbonation. Aroma of apricots, fruity esters, light bready malts and a touch of spice. Similar flavor, fruity and quite sweet with a syrupy mouth feel. Not too bad overall, just a little too cloying and sweet for me.

Tessic (1157) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2015
This wheat poured a med Amber colour with a big, foamy, off white head. Scents include apricot jam, bubblegum and strawberries? First swig was a little thin with flavours of slightly roasted malt and apricots. Medium/light carbonation with a slightly sweet finish of light hops and fruit.

This is not bad at all but not as yummy as I remembered. It sort of has am almond/apricot taste which is initially quite pleasant but an undertone of ersatz fruitiness, plastic-like even, detracts from what could be an excellent fruit brew. It has got a nice colour and when the flavour shines, it shines well. Fairly light bodied and able to slake thirst, it is much better than many fruit beers I have tried.
