Natural apricot flavour is married to barley and wheat malts to give St-Ambroise Apricot Wheat Ale its uniquely delicious, subtly sweet taste. A natural, delightfully refreshing choice for adventurous palates that appreciate a light ale with a playful twist.

Bottle 341ml.

Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apricot, light black pepper. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, peppery, artificial spicy apricot, sweet apricot. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111001]

From tap at Saint Bock. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and slight citric apricot. Fruity, artificial and citric. Quite intense in flavoured. Sweet and citric dense flavoured finish. Canadian radler?

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A hazy orange beer with a very small head. The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of apricot. The flavor is of apricot and coriander - but I don’t like it. And the body is even thin.

Can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity apricot aroma. Fruity wheat malty apricot flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy apricot finish.

Bottled (shared with FatPhil). One of the fastest ratings ever done, running over Rautatientori in Helsinki to catch my train, and opening + drinking from this while running (colour sample taken from the air while pouring a bit of the beer on the ground). Orange colour, no head sample possible under the conditions when tasting it. Aroma was wheat and apricot in a rather sweet way. Flavour is rather similar with also some mild grainyness to it. In such an ok fruit beer, but at the same time rather sweet.

Draft. Clear amber color, small white head. Aroma of apricot, light lemon. Taste has stone fruit, apricot. OK.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2004 Sampled draught at Brutopia, Montréal.
Hazy golden, Loads of apricot in the aroma. Sweet with some wheat character. Light flavoured and one dimensional, somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. At least it stays away from being cloying.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, sugary and heavy canned peach. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. 240617

Golden color. Quite strong apricot aroma, maybe too much artificial. Strange mouthfeel, quite dry, artificial fruitness, wrong bitterness (doesn't match with the apricots). Disappointing final.

mcberko (19868) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 7, 2010
330mL bottle, pours golden/orange with a white head. Strong and sweet flavour of apricot. Flavour of apricot and bread/wheat, with a smooth palate. Not bad.
