341mL bottle, pours clear copper with a huge white head. Aroma of subtle hops and malts, with pine in there. Smooth and refreshing palate - flavour of mild hops, spices and caramel. Nice pale ale. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 8, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2006 Bright copper-amber colour. Caramel malts and woody hops feature in the aroma. Moderate bitterness but little hop character to match. There is also quite a bit of caramelly, slightly toasty/earthy malt sweetness. The finish is more of the same - a pleasurable bitterness but too much caramelly malts for my taste. Well-made brew but pretty far from my ideal pale. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 23, 2007
(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Golden color, quite ok white head. Malty aroma, some honey and some fruits. Malty flavor, some caramel, some bitternotes. A decent beer.

I guess that this is "Biere Blonde". Clear amber color, small white head. Light fruity malty nose. Fruity - peach and apricot are there at least. Nice pale ale, but would be better when unfiltered.

5 Initially quite lagery aroma when cold. As it warms, it becomes sweeter and spicier, maybe cookies. A touch of alcohol.
3 Rich orange, lots of lacing from teh small off-white head.
5 Pretty dull taste, sweet malts, I guess. I guess a it yeasty and some banana. Some earthiness, mushrooms, and even alcohol.
3 Smooth palate, crisp carbonation. Just feels so dead. No depth. Finish is earthy and with burnt plastic astringent bitterness
11 5% sweet beers should not smell and taste of alcohol. Simply adequate, otherwise.
Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. Coppery color with a fine, foamy beige head. Aroma is primarily roasted caramel with a hint of fruity hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is rather floral, with light roasted caramel. Halfway between APA and ESB. Maybe the finish is a bit too bit for an ESB. Very refreshing. Smooth with no raw harsh impression. Good drink. Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2007
Bottle thank to Sk8viking. Clear amber - white head. Bread, straw, malty, light sour hopped, grass, caramel, pine. High carbonated. Tmoney99 (15137) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 16, 2007
Bottle sample from distrbutor. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly and produced good lacing. Moderate hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium hoppy bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of average duration. Good drinkable brew. HenrikSoegaard (14710) - Randers, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2006
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Nice amber colour. Powerfull hoppy aroma. Good flavor, moderate long finish. Oily palate and a liottle fizzy. But a really nice beer. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2008
Bottle from Once Upon a Vine North in Richmond, VA. Pours a reddish amber with a 2-finger head. Citrus and floral hops aroma. Assertive citrus and pine hops throughout with subtle caramel and rye notes. Full bodied, strong effervescence.
