Shared bottle. Pink-amber color. Sweet cherry. Hint of ginger finish. I have had only a few meads so I don't really have experience rating them. An okay drink. radagast83 (8763) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - OCT 6, 2017
Draft pour (yep, draft) at Savannah Bee Co. in Charleston SC. Poured a clear yellow-orange color. A lot going on in this one. Cherry skins, light spicy notes. Didn't recognize the ginger at first, but had to be it. This was pretty good. svandyke (261) - USA - AUG 10, 2017
5oz- Bright clear gold with reddish tint. Nice spicy cherry smell. Oily feel. There is heavy cherry in the front and the ginger come a second later. Something just doesn’t work with this. bpar73 (1232) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - APR 2, 2017
On tap at the tasting room. Clear red pour with a nice blend of honey and cherries. Tmoney99 (15322) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2016
Bottle. Poured clear reddish color with good legs. Moderate berry fruity, honey aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and long legs. Medium sweet fruit and honey flavor with a medium complex sweet finish of moderate duration.

22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear rose color with champagne like bubbles. The aroma and flavor have sweet honey, malts and fruit, cherry, light vinous character, decent for what it is. BrandNewBrew (51) - - FEB 26, 2016
Aroma is mostly ginger with strong honey backbone. Pours a really unfortunate brown color, moderate carbonation. Taste is definitely cherry and ginger, good honey character as well, but lacking acid balance. Cherries feel flat, ginger seems to not be complimented by it at all. Too sweet for me meadist (1) - - OCT 2, 2015 does not count
It has an earthy, musty cherry aroma. It reminds me of cherry cola - more specifically, the cherry bottle caps candy. A little bit of sweet honey comes through in the nose, but I don’t get any ginger.
It has a thick, sweet cherry flavor with slight tartness coming through on the tail end. It sips heavier and sweeter than expected, yet still finds a way to remain refreshing. It would be nicer if the sweetness was toned down a bit while elevating the tartness of the cherries. I only get the ginger in the after-taste - but it does linger long after the sip is swallowed, which i find nice.
