sm89walt (2092) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 11, 2011
Cask - The Rake, Borough, London. Deep, dark brown body; lasting, medium sized tan head. Perfumey roastiness, hints of smoke, juicy dark fruits. Again, a perfumey roasty, fruitiness, pine wood, light red wine notes & smoky touches. The smoke didn’t come through much at all for me. Medium body, softish mouthfeel, lingering red berry aftertaste with a delicate roasty, smoky bitterness.
