ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 9, 2015
On tap @ The Clachan (Soho), London. Clear amber body, medium creamy white head. Nose is mild malty notes, caramel, bread and hints of red fruits. Taste is mild nutty tones, caramel, biscuits and hints of biscuits and straw. Light, near-watery body, soft carbonation. Goes down like water, but at the end of the day this is just another classically boring bitter.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is softly hoppy. A creamyalt base and a bit of spicy hops. Fresh and toasty. Has a nice soft crispness and a lingering bit of crackery character. Pretty solid brew.

Cask at the Elephant and Castle W8. A perfectly acceptable session bitter, not too strong, average levels of bitterness, slight hint butter, slight hint chalk, tiny tiny citrus. Easily drinkable, easily forgettable.
