"Light, clear and refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness, Proper Job IPA is based on a traditional IPA recipe which makes it perfect for long, hot summer days."

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 500ml bottle, due 09/2017. Pours clear golden yellow with small white head and almost no lacing. Very little aroma, mostly malty, a bit of flowery scents. Taste is not complex, I would describe the little taste I can as malty with noticeable bitterness. Some buttery feeling in the background. It?s mid full. Overall it is a nice IPA though I got so used to the American hops I am missing these here... Though it is supposed to have Chinook and Cascade and none are detectable.

Bottle. Pours auburn, generous head. Not much aroma. It’s very dry and bitter, with no real complexity. Ok, but it’s a bitter rather than an IPA for me.

500ML Bottle .In a Shaker Pint . I’m surprised not to have rated this , certain I’ve drunk it before and I could say that about many beers . Nose of fresh citrus emphasis , wood , pine , musty aftershave and light maltiness . Two fingers of foam like when Rich scratches his ass with his fingers in the welfare line ...bright pale ale kinda colour . A pretty intense hoppy APA - assertive hops and a kiss of caramel backdrop . Good long fruity grapefruit zest bitterness lingers nicely ...Its pretty Xsolid ,
