Proper Job is an authentic IPA brewed with Cornish spring water and malt made from a blend of malts including Cornish grown Maris Otter barley.
Proper Job is dedicated to the 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment who stoutly defended their garrison during the Indian Mutiny in 1857-58. Throughout the siege the traditional "Sunset Ceremony" (beating the retreat and lowering the national flag) was ignored as an act of defiance to the mutineers. In recognition of a "Proper Job" Queen Victoria awarded the 32nd the honour

Very tasteless for an IPA. Weak in taste. Easy to drink. Looks ok. Does not smell much

Light amber color. Cloudy with a soapy head. Weak body and watery mouthfeel. Sweet caramel aroma, light carb, some banana and stale bread taste. Tried with the parents in London in 2012.

Finwe (436) - Grankulla, FINLAND - JUN 9, 2012
Draught @ Vastarannan kiiski, Helsinki. Pale golden with a small white head. Grainy aroma with predominant fruitiness, mainly peaches. The flavour has peaches, too, otherwise malt, medium bitterness. Dry finish.

Vladivostok (483) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2012
A little more astringent than most brews from St. Austell and noticeably more flavoursome than Tribute. Pale, citrusy with a solid body and good level of bitterness. Quite decent.

Tap@ Black door, helsinki. Poured clear golden with a creamy white head. Fruity aroma, hops and caramel. Flavor has fruity hops but is also quite buttery and malty. Leathery. Berries in finish.

3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2012
cask at Charlie’s in Copenhagen. hazed gold body with a fine bubbled white head. dry and musty lightly pungent noble-like hop nose. grassy dried leaves and a rustic but light cheese and citrus flavor is superbly clean. mild oiliness and pillowy natural carbonation work really well with the flavor profile. has a lovely tenderness and softness throughout. a touch of raw cereal grains and semi-sweet citrus surround it. quite good.
