Cask handpull at the Cock, Henham. Honey brown. Just a bit hazy. A bit of whitish head on top. Muted aroma of caramel malt, red grape. Fruity bittersweet taste with a well-judged malt/hop balance. A slight metallic edge. This doesnít hang together quite right although itís enjoyable enough. Could have done with a half instead of a pint.

Cask at the Red Lion, Hockley. Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is big zesty tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, smooth citrus, light spicy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. An excellent session bitter.

A pleasant enough beer which I found lacking a little in powerful flavours. Malty biscuit flavours were nice but didnít have anything to stand out from the crowd.

Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Amber with white head. This proved to be sweet. malty, biscuity beer, otherwise little to be had. Just ok.

Fruity aroma. Very golden amber colour. Very clear. Slightly fruity flavour with a gentle taste. Slight aftertaste. Crisp and fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton 11/02/13. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A decently balanced beer but unexciting. Light berry fruits. A creamy texture. Quaffable but oh so plain.
