St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

500ml brown bottle. Pours out gold, has a full white head, creamy and fine bubbles. Nose has sweet malt with citrusy hops. Taste has grainy malts, a bit of caramel sweetness, fruity notes, orange and grapefruity citrus notes. Grains in the finish with light citrusy bitterness. Light body, light carbonation. Pretty nice bitter, decent use of hops gives it a little complexity.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Thinner and less malty bottled variety. The cask thickness really lends itself to this beer. In a bottle, it is not so good. Review from memory.

33cl can on a BA flight. Pours very criso classic gold with quickly fading white foam. Aroma is a weird combination of malty and burnt caramel/candy. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet and artificial, with some initial bitterness. Finish is slightly longer than average, with sweetness.

Davros IX (534) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2017
Bottle at a family weekend. A classic English pale ale with light biscuity malt and plenty of bittering hops. There was lots of flavour in a nice low abv that was perfect as a pre-Sunday lunch pint of beer before the roast chicken and cotes du rhone.

Tesco- Bottle 500ml. 24/10/17
Not much to say on this one.
Pours golden and clear. Aggressive carbonation to begin with, settling to high-medium. Two, and then one finger white head.
Toasted malts...heavy malt aroma, caramel, touch of lemon, perhaps tangerine.
Overall, very drinkable, very traditional, but not much desire to drink more. Exceptionally average.

My Perfect summer ale. Strong enough flavour to withstand being chilled. Flavour lasts right to the last drop, very moreish ale from a quality brewery.

Bijl (841) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 23, 2017

Beese (3266) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2017
500ml bottle from M&S, Watford. A while since I've had a bottle of this... very wet grass aroma, kinda musky. This isn't a damning criticism, but it isn't exactly an overwhelmingly nice beer.
