This has to be one of the nices beers going. It is worth the awards its won. Travels very well. Try the ’Old Bakery in High Street Kenilworth, Warwickshire for an excellant pint. It is a beer that has never caused me a hang over! well not a bad one. Hirotoma (473) - Bologna, ITALY - APR 6, 2012
My Perfect summer ale. Strong enough flavour to withstand being chilled. Flavour lasts right to the last drop, very moreish ale from a quality brewery. AtronSeige (1707) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - DEC 26, 2013
Aroma: Fruity, spicy, bread, musty,
Appearance: Clear light copper body. Medium rocky off-white head.
Flavour: Medium-High bitterness. Medium-light sweetness, fruity, bread, dry finish. resin, caramel,
Palate: Medium body. High carbonation.
Overall: The high bitterness is a bit of a shock, but one does get used to it. The beer is enjoyable after a few sips. I could have another few.
500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!
