This has to be one of the nices beers going. It is worth the awards its won. Travels very well. Try the ’Old Bakery in High Street Kenilworth, Warwickshire for an excellant pint. It is a beer that has never caused me a hang over! well not a bad one. Hirotoma (471) - Bologna, ITALY - APR 6, 2012
Forse saro’ esagerato ma questa birra non puo’ avere un voto cosi’ basso, e’ buonissima per ora la bitter inglese di gran lunga piu’ buona aromatica presentabile che abbia mai sentito! AtronSeige (1518) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - DEC 26, 2013
Aroma: Fruity, spicy, bread, musty,
Appearance: Clear light copper body. Medium rocky off-white head.
Flavour: Medium-High bitterness. Medium-light sweetness, fruity, bread, dry finish. resin, caramel,
Palate: Medium body. High carbonation.
Overall: The high bitterness is a bit of a shock, but one does get used to it. The beer is enjoyable after a few sips. I could have another few.
500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

Bitter taste with a delicate lemon nute. Full palate. Long and bitter finish. Snowy white head, thick, stays long on top. Golden colour. Jetulio (119) - Tarragona.SPAIN, SPAIN - DEC 11, 2012
500 ml bottle poured into a Pint glass
App-----amber colour with a white head (1,5 finger) not lasting
Aroma------ malt, citron and wet herbs
Taste------ starts with a mix of light citrus and bitterness, bitterness lasting for a good while in a dry finish (for an English ale)
Mouthfeel-----& medium body & carbonation, great balance in mouth with a nice dry finish
Overall------ balanced and classical but the dry touch at the end adds a little innovation for an English ale

Bottle. I really love this beer, this is a real good session beer. I need to try the cask version soon to see if it is good as the bottle. Fairground (29) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2013
Nice! Woody and fresh! Zingy citrus flavours and leaves a nice taste in the mouth bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - NOV 16, 2012
500ml bottle Bierpost. - One of the best thirst quenchers under 4.5% I’ve had. Light, yet with quality biscuit malts (some caramel) in the back and a very pleasant Fuggle/Willamette hop aroma, prominent citrus/orange. Light mouthfeel, watery - for once, in a good way. Almost like fermented Lady Grey hop tea - could easily make this my session beer for the coming spring or just when thirsty and not in a Pilsy mood (= often). Lovely golden colour with sweet malty orangey aroma. Taste to follow, overall sweet and fruity with a mild bitter balance. Very tasty
