Tribute is a popular favourite with locals and visitors alike to Cornwall, as well as being a much sought after guest ale throughout the rest of the UK.
Roger Protz: “Tribute is a magnificent example of a bronze coloured English bitter, with a rich aroma of biscuity malt and tart citrus fruit. Juicy malt, hop resins and tangy fruit coat the tongue, while the finish is long and lingering, with a fine balance between malt, hops and fruit, finally becoming dry and bitter”.

This is definitely a better than average pint of bitter. It's light and crisp, with a little bit of floral/earthy hop aroma. It reminds me of a really good English cask blond, since the malt is light and the hops come through.

Dark golden, slightly hazy cask ale with thin white head. Aromas are earthy, slightly fruity, biscuity. Taste very much follows this, with some caramel, some marmalade-like fruitiness and a dry bitter finish. A very drinkable pale ale, but not one that leaves me wanting to come back for more.

Tap at Red Lion, Oxford. Not so much aromas, but some sweet caramel notes. Dark golden and clear body, small head. Tastewise this is a bitter/ESB. Fruity with caramel notes.

Pint @Land’s End,Cornwall. Ciemno-bursztynowy kolor. Piana lekko kremowa, biala ,opada dosc szybko. Ciastka ,karmel, jablka lekki posmak owocow suszonych, delikatny dodatek cytrusow. Raczej slodkawe o niskim wysyceniu.

Mild karbonering.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 Pint at The Half Moon, Windlesham. Light amber with white head. Big elderflower, apple peel, apples, pear, fig.

Kebabman (14) - Devon, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2017
Faint malty aroma, a bit of biscuit taste but bitterness is just far too low so ends up sickly sweet.
