3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy golden yellow pour with a nice thick, fluffy white head. The perfect looking Witbier. Aroma is light and pleasant. Lemon zest, sweet dough, white pepper. Very refreshing taste. Slightly spicy on the front end, followed by oranges, honey, and coriander. Finish is dry and clean. Flavor is slightly more subdued than I expected but it’s still very delicious. Overall, this beer is great. The biggest drawback for me is the price and availability. I’ve only come across the beer a handful of times and when I do it’s usually around $5 a bottle. Delicious, but not worth the $5 price tag to buy regularly.

Backlog, Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with white head and plenty of lace. Notes of florals, wheat, citrus, coriander, and belgian funk. Medium bodied. A bit too spicy and fruity overall. harrisoni (19004) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2017
Bottle at Poechenellekelder Brussels. Cant believe ive not had it before. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Soapy wit aroma. Light lemon. Soapy wit flavour. Not the best wit in the world by a long chalk. Ok.

Keg @6 North, Edinburgh. Pours pale yellow, big white head. Nose is spices, clove to the fore, oranges and lemon. Taste is along the same lines nut with a big banana and bubblegum thing going on. Good but a bit thin. Luneylane (216) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - AUG 2, 2017
A bottle at the Cafe Bastille. Aroma: citrus fruits and bread. Appearance: hazy light amber, head dissipates to nothing. Palate: full-bodied yet rather thin in texture, average carbonation, long and complex, predominantly sour finish. Taste: medium sour, well-balanced, sherbet lemon and honey flavours at the finish. Very refreshing. Marstonlad (931) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2017
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a big, well lasting head. The aroma grainy, wheaty maltiness with solid presences of spiciness and fresh fruitiness. Taste is light sweet, displaying predominantly fruity and wheaty flavours with some spiciness supporting; nicely yeasty but still very fresh and easily drinkable. The palate is medium-bodied, very smooth and average in carbonation. Quality wit: delightfully full mouthfeel meets fresh fruity and wheaty aromas. Beers0mniac (141) - Joensuu, FINLAND - JUL 30, 2017

0,33cl bottle. It’s a great Belgian white, but from the great brewers of Bernadus I expected a little bit more.
