Chocolate brown, frothy non-homogenous head which quickly disappear.
Fruity, slight (nice) alcohol smell.
medium-full body, fizzy but not fresh. Balanced towards the alcohol rather than hop. Alcohol warmth.
Ok for an easter brew. Not fantastic. The medium-full body, alcohol and fizzyness is not an ideal match. To heavy and alcoholic in the long run.

75cl bottle at home.
dark amber, large thick fluffy light brown head.
yeasty, spicy aroma, a little peppery. typical belgian, faint dark fruits, alc. can be sensed.
flavor is licorice, faint malty, sweetness, spicy (strong peppery sort of spices), caramel, faint dark fruits. overall the beer seems a bit brutal and nonblended, but flavor is okay.

(Bottle 75cl) Pours cloudy brownish with a beige fluffy head. Heavy malty aroma with some dried fruits. Flavour is malts, dried fruits and yeast. Not too inteeting. BelgiskOlklub (1078) - Viby J, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2009
Bottle 75 cl. Frothy light brown lasting head. Cloudy brown body. Heavy malt aroma of roasted and burnt malt. Fresh hoppy finish gives a well balanced flavor. Full body, warming. NosirIwont (2512) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - APR 12, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut brown with a big, dense off-white/beige head. Malty, dusty and sweet aroma with notes of nuts. Feels pretty stingy, probably from too much carbonation, which felt annoying and interfered with the aroma. Flavour is (too) sweet; molasses and malt mixed with notes of nuts. Faint notes of plastic. Prunes? Slightly metallic as it warms. Feels a bit cloying. Slightly bitter finish with remote notes of yeast. A bit fruity. Too much carbonation. A decent, if somewhat standard, beer, but was too cloying. 11-04-09. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 10, 2009
