COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unique Belgian beer, top fermented and with bottle conditioning. This Easterbeer is a balanced equilibrium between sweet and bitter, between body and freshness. It has a malty and fruity nose with a thick, round froth. It is brewed in the rich tradition of the St. Bernardus Brewery, using only the very best malts, hops, and sugars. Our own yeast and the specific water of the brewery give our beers depth and strength. This Easterbeer lives up to our credo: St. Bernardus, bringing heavenly nectar within reach.

Dark brown, head holds good but could be a bit bigger. Smell is light sweet caramel, spiced and hoppy. Taste is sweet caramel, good spiced. Maybe a bit to much.

(on bottle) Fad redbrown, light brown head. A beer with many layers; first pour was like a ambrée, last one like a hardcore quad, difficult when sharing a bottle. A light beer of it´s kind.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - APR 14, 2007
Nice deep amber with a dense white head. Very yeasty/fruity aroma with notes of sweet alchohol and spices. Has the texture of a wheat beer with a pretty complex flavor which activates all taste buds, but with a mainly bitter finish. Quite warming brew

TorbenJensen (1532) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2015
It has rich malt notes with hints of orange peel in flavor. The taste is somewhat sweet with notes of candied and again a little orange and plum with. Caramel malt become more evident back of the tongue, and concedes it a fullness that lasts long in the mouth. Hop bitterness is very nice balanced with respect to its sweetness, and all in all it is a very fine and tasty beer. Personally, I think it is a little too sweet, and I would like a little more pronounced hop bitterness.
