Brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Notes of citrous, earthy and caramel. Flavour is mildy sweet but well balanced. Notes of belgian yeast, bananas, sweet malt and faint hints of alcohol. Medium long aftertaste.

Ktwse (5019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2017
Pours deep dark brown with medium tall light tan head. Aroma of herbs, nuts, light dried fruit, brown sugar. Taste is deep, dark roasty with a mellow sweet and slightly herbal finish. Medium bodied and smooth with soft carbonation.

geolgau (293) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - AUG 12, 2017
Aroma is fruity and nutty, but it somewhat feels shy. Raisins, a touch of roast and dark fruits. Creamy and fluffy, with nice nutty notes complemented by burnt sugar, dry earthiness. It also has some weird bitterness to it, like raw chestnuts. Good, but the dry bitterness annoys me.

huineman (717) - Madrid, SPAIN - AUG 8, 2017
33 cl bottle served in white wine glass. Copper to chestnut hue, slightly cloudy and very dark, with a dense, thick, nicely lacing, tan head. Aroma is mild to medium: cane sugar, cashew, almond, cocoa, tobacco. Silky, velvety, creamy. Medium-bodied, quite round. No sweetness, no bitterness. Medium to low persistence.

AROMAT : Intensywny. Zlozony. Fenole (gozdziki), estry (zielone banany, wisnie suszone), nuty karmelu.
SMAK : Slodowe z wyrazna dominacja belgijskich drozdzy. Posmak slodowo-fenolowy. Spore nasycenie. Dobrze wkomponowany alkohol.
WYGLAD : Barwa bursztynowa, zamglone. Piana obfita, mydlana, nietrwala.
OGÓLNIE : Przecietny Dubbel. Szkoda, poniewaz ten browar ma w swym dorobku piwa wybitne.

thellgren (1079) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 15, 2017
0.33 l bottle from Koht Õllepood, Tallinn, Estonia. Appearance is brown, cloudy and with a huge white head. Aroma has dark chocolate. Taste is sweet and dry with chocolate flavour. Well, this is the closest you can get to Westvleteren 6 since it is not being brewed any more.

tlyx (102) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2017
Gräsig arom med en aning svart te. Metall, gräs med jordig avslutning. Ganska vattnig och intetsägande.

tgrtnr (216) - Augsburg, GERMANY - JUL 8, 2017

wilde_joost59 (157) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 7, 2017
Uit fles. Prachtig schuim, mooi donker van kleur. Veel aroma. Meer een bier voor herfst of winter dat wel, maar vol van smaak.

ha1ag (917) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 24, 2017
Bottled. A light version of the 8. Color is dark hazy brown with huge off-white head. Spicey nose. Aroma is dark fruit, sweet caramel. Flavour is same, no alcoholic stings of the 8. OK.
