Bottled. Brown, hazy colour with big fluffy off-white head. The head vanishes quite quickly though. Leaves slight lace. Aroma is nuts, slight spices and dry dark fruit. Flavour is malts, caramel, spices. Maybe a slight dissappointment if having the 12 in the thoughts, but still a good little brother, though a lot emptier. By no means a bad brew, hides the alcohol well and is quite pleasantly mixed. omhper (25095) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2003

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Light dark colour, hazy - almost like melted milk chocolate... Malty with a very light mouthfeel. Incredibly pleasant - and easy - to drink. Only medium body. 170893 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2013

Almost opaque dark brown beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and a little dry. Fine sharp carbonation. Dusty seltzer yeast. Mild creamy malt. Touches of tangy fruits and molasses. Dry finish. A bit messy but drinkable.
Dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma of raisins and malt. Medium-mouthed, flavor of raisins, caramel. A junior version of the Prior - in strength, not in flavor. Very nice.
